The BARKMATE SHAKE is an entry-level vibration collar, designed to be worn by timid to average dogs whose barking has not yet become overly stubborn in nature, or for owners looking at an alternative to traditional static and citronella correction collars.
This fully adjustable anti bark collar uses vibrations to disrupt the dog’s barking pattern, in a manner similar to technology used in mobile phones and pagers. It still creates the surprise of a static collar, but without the intense tingling.
The BARKMATE SHAKE allows you to adjust both the sensitivity of the bark detection unit and the level of intensity at which it responds to your dog’s barking, meaning you now have more control over just how much your dog can get away with before the collar responds.
When your dog barks, the bark detection unit picks up on the unique vibrations caused by a dog's barking and then automatically issues the first correction. If the dog ignores the first correction, the collar will continue to activate in short intervals until the barking ceases. If you feel the dog is not responding to your satisfaction, you can adjust the intensity higher until you find the perfect level at which your dog ceases barking the quickest.
The BARKMATE SHAKE can be worn up to 12 hours a day and is best suited to small-medium breed dogs up to 40kg and over 6 months of age.
